Welcome to Lost Valley Resort

Lost Valley Resort is a great way to start a new family tradition. Join us for a fun relaxing vacation your family will love year after year.

Lost Valley Resort is located on beautiful Trowbridge/Leek Lake about 4 miles NW of Vergas. We have 7 two-bedroom lakeside cabins, each with it’s own dock and swimming area. A fishing boat is included with each cabin.  Extra boats, motors and a pontoon is also available for rent.

We also have campsites with full hookups for nightly or weekly rental. For your convenience, we have a store on-site where you can purchase icecream, candy, pop, food and other necessities.

For the fisherman we carry a supply of bait, tackle and gas & oil.

Trowbridge/Leek Lake is a 609 acre lake, and is known for it’s abundant supply of sunfish, northern and bass. Other species in the lake include crappie, walleye and perch. The lake is also great for swimming and water sports, or just relaxing and taking in the great outdoors.

Resort History

Lost Valley Resort was established in 1961 after being built by Ralph & Wilma Richter. The land the resort is located on was once pasture land. After 29 years of the resort business Ralph and Wilma decided to retire. The resort was then purchased by their son and his wife, Ron & Tammy Richter. They have now owned and operated the resort for 20 years themselves. They have also raised two children in the resort business, Jamie and Cody. Hopefully some day one of them will decide to continue the tradition.

One of the special things that Lost Valley has created thoughout the years, is a family tradition for many. We have many of the same families, in the same cabin, the same week every year. This has allowed for everyone to get to know each other and become good friends that can reconnect year after year. Their children and our children have grown up with each other. This has resulted in many lifetime friendships and even a few marriages.
